We Christians are incredibly inconsistent with what we view as “bound by the culture of the text.” So until women can pray and prophecy and serve equally with men (like the text says they can) I am going to be greeting everyone with “holy kisses” on the mouth. That means you, elderly, white males in our congregations who think women can only bake and teach babies. Pucker up.
